Marius Johannes van der Merwe leads with practical direction

Marius Johannes van der Merwe, the Managing Director, keeps the company pointed at what matters most: machines that suit the job and support that holds up after installation. He understands that a machine sale is only one part of the job, followed by installation, training, tooling choices and support when the workshop needs it.

His approach is steady and direct. Clients want to know if a router can handle their material, their volume and their operators, and Marius helps make those calls with the full picture in mind. He works closely with the rest of the team so the advice stays consistent from quotation to after-sales service.

Sales and applications that start with the real job

Lerato Nkosi handles sales conversations with a strong feel for what different workshops actually produce. She helps customers compare machine sizes, table options and production needs without overcomplicating the process. If a sign shop needs speed on sheet material or a furniture maker needs nesting support, Lerato keeps the options clear.

Lesedi Ntanzi, the Applications Specialist, turns drawings and production goals into workable CNC settings. He looks at tooling, feed rates, material behaviour and cutting order so teams can get consistent parts out of the machine. That kind of detail matters when boards are expensive and rework is a waste of time.

  • Machine choice based on material, part size and daily output
  • Practical tooling notes for wood, plastics and soft metals
  • Application support for cleaner cuts and fewer surprises

Service support that keeps machines earning

Stefan Naude, the Technical Manager, leads the service side with a focus on machine health and sensible maintenance. He handles fault finding, preventative care and technical guidance for workshops that need reliable output and less downtime. If a spindle sounds off or a vacuum system is underperforming, Stefan is the person who wants the facts first.

Farieda Adams, the Service Coordinator, keeps calls, schedules and follow ups moving. She helps customers book maintenance, plan site visits and get the right support at the right time. That includes keeping service work organised for Germiston Support, Johannesburg East, Midrand Service and the other areas the team covers.

Good service is not only about fixing problems after they happen. It is also about booking checks before a small issue becomes a costly stoppage, which saves time and stress for the whole workshop.

Installation, relocation and site readiness done carefully

Mpho Mtshali, the Installation Technician, handles machine delivery, setup and commissioning on site. He knows how much can go wrong if levelling, wiring, vacuum setup or extraction are rushed, so he works methodically and checks the details before sign off. For shops on busy industrial sites or in tighter premises, that patience matters.

He also helps with machine relocation when a workshop moves, expands or reshuffles production. That includes getting the machine into place, checking the table and making sure the operator can work safely and confidently from day one. A proper handover can make the difference between a smooth start and a week of lost time.

  • Machine installation and commissioning
  • Machine relocation and re setup
  • Dust system balancing and site checks

Parts, tooling and operator know-how in one place

Chantel Naidoo, the Parts and Tooling Lead, helps workshops keep the right consumables on hand and the right cutters in the spindle. She understands that tooling is not just a small extra, it is part of the cut quality, cycle time and finish. Her support helps customers match tools to material and avoid unnecessary wear.

The team also backs operator training, controller backups, vacuum leak checks and spindle service, because a well run CNC room depends on more than just the machine itself. With the right people around it, a workshop can keep moving even when schedules are tight or load shedding interrupts the day. A bit of planning goes a long way here, especially for busy teams.

  • Tooling setup and practical cutter advice
  • Operator training for day to day confidence
  • Controller backups, vacuum checks and spindle service
